The Oromia Land Bureau and the Environment and Coffee Forest Forum (ECFF) have signed a partnership agreement to manage land use in the Oromia region.This collaboration aims to implement the Rural Land Administration and Use Proclamation No. 248/2015 across three zones, six districts, and twelve local administrations. The focus will be on optimizing land use for forests, coffee production, and agriculture."Land is the foundation of everything," stated Mr. Kadir Mamo, head of the Oromia Land Bureau. "This agreement ensures organized land use guides all development activities."ECFF project organizer, Mr. Techane Gonfa, emphasized the importance of this initiative: "We at ECFF are committed to working closely with the Land Bureau to ensure the success of this plan."This partnership builds upon the initial land use plan implemented in three zones back in 2014. The Oromia Land Bureau is dedicated to diligently continuing this vital work in 2016.
